The camp in Madrid is a prestigious private school situated in the outskirts of Madrid. don Quijote converts this beautiful campus -near one of Europe's largest universities and just 15 minutes by metro from the emblematic Plaza de España- into a comfortable and active setting for our international campers.
Summer Camp options
We offer you 3 Summer Camp program options so you can choose the best one for your child:
- A) Summer Camp: Intense Spanish course and in-house residence in a residence hall. It makes for an unforgettable experience in which the student continuously interacts with other youngsters and teens 24 hours a day.
- B) Day Camp: Student participates in all camp activities, including the language course. No lodging included.
- C) Language Course Only: Student shares Spanish language classes with other camp youngsters. Does not include camp activities or lodging.
Facilities: The Camp in Madrid is completely equipped with a cafeteria, auditorium, computer room, photo lab, video/TV room, and dining room. There is also a 24-hour reception desk, always attended by a staff member.
Outdoor facilities include a well-kept garden area that opens onto a football (soccer) field, a semi-Olympic pool, a gymnasium, a basketball court, a handball court and a tennis court.
Capacity: 280 students.
Accommodation:Colegio Mayor Universitario Chaminade.
Students are grouped by age & gender and we attempt to mix different nationalities.
Optional Sports: Tennis and horseback riding
Age Group:
- Group 1: from 5 to 10 years old.
- Group 2: from 11 to 14 years old.
- Group 3: from 15 to 18 years old.
Permission: Only under the expressed request of parents or guardians.
Date: July & the first half of August.
Madrid Summer Camp
don Quijote´s Summer Camp in Madrid is located in the University of Francisco Vitoria’s campus at:
The University of Francisco de Vitoria Campus is located in the town of Pozuelo de Alarcón, an adjoining residential area of Madrid, off Highway M-515, which connects to Pozuelo de Alarcón y Majadahonda.
Directions by Car
- If you have a GPS device, enter the coordinates: N 40.43879º, W 3.83662º
- From Highway de Castilla: Exit Pozuelo-Majadahonda and pass 4 roundabouts, exit number 13 (M-515).
- From M-40 (From the A-5): Exit 40: Pozuelo (M-503) and bypass M-515.
- From A-6: Exit 11 to M-40 (towards Badajoz N-V), on the M-40 take exit 41: Pozuelo (M-503) and bypass M-515.
